Apparently there aren't any cake guide around on this site or on the web for some odd reason... Does anyone who is proficient with cake willing to help me?

It's such a useless (yet easy) bot that people just don't bother making a guide.
Some tips I can give: If you can ruin their angle so that they can't shoot, you're doing your job with cake. The trick to doing that is to put them into the little hole made by a shot 2, then do a dual shot 2 into the same hole. The higher your angle is, the better this trick will be. A very high angle makes a very vertical hole that even bots like ice have trouble shooting out of. A lower angle hole might be enough to screw the angle of bots like armor, sate, frog, and turtle.
Bots that blast through land easily are harder to screw, boomer and trico can blast through land even if you do screw their angle a little.
The other useful trick to give JD a winning edge is to bunge. Mostly you will use shot 2 for this, but shot 1 technically makes a larger hole. Shot 2 is just better cuz it will pass through their body. If you hit their body directly with shot 1 it blasts a little land underneath them, but not very much, and you won't be able to bunge them easily. If you use shot 2 it always makes a nice hole underneath them. If you miss shot 1 a bit in front of them, or a bit behind them, it makes the best hole possible, but again you have to make sure you miss a bit. Usually it's safest to just keep using 2.
Also don't try to bunge or angle rape them every time, sometimes it's just so much work that it's faster to just kill them with damage. For pure damage, shot 1 is best, 2 is very similar in damage though and might even be a bit better for duals. SS is also a good way to get over 250 damage when you need it.
Oh, one more thing, an important tactic for cake is 'cakecide'. You walk close to an enemy and do a dual shot 2 near them that damages them and sucks you into the same hole that they're in. If you do it correctly, you will take almost no damage, but you still get sucked in. They'll be stuck with you on top of them in a little pit, and if they can't climb out of that pit, any shot they take will damage them as much as it hurts you. If they're forced into doing a shot where they kill themselves this way, they automatically lose, even if you get killed at the same shot (or even if you technically die 'first'). Sometimes this is the only way to win.
