Well, since the last update or the one before that one, i noticed that the wind has changed. Wind that points northeast is one problem i found. The wind was 25 and pointing northeast i shot 12 lower. It went way more far than i thought it would. And wind in NorthWest almost touching the divide by 20 mark is much stronger than before. I use the general wind chart in the homepage. I use Armor/Turtle. And i double checked if i divided right, and i did. Can anyone help?

Wind

Wind hasn't changed in this game for like 5 years lol. There's no reason for them to screw with it. Certain wind angles are 'tricky' because a small difference in the wind direction makes a big difference in where the shot lands. Generally, if you're shooting --> winds that are a bit north of 'northwest' and a bit south of 'southeast' will be the most difficult. The reason is that the wind is sort of helping and fighting your shot at the same time... like with the northwest wind... it's upward wind (which normally makes a shot go further) but it's also pointing against your a bit (so it makes the shot go shorter)... they sort of cancel each other out. The same with down+forward wind... it's down so it makes the shot crash sooner, but it's forward so it blows the short further before it crashes. Anyway, an easy rule to use is: If the wind angle is sort of the 'opposite' of your shooting angle, then your shot will travel just like it would in 0 wind. For example wind pointing exactly between north and west would be pointing at -45 degrees. If your shooting angle is 45 in this wind, then your shot will move exactly like in 0 wind. It doesn't matter if it's 3 wind or 26 wind... your shooting angle perfectly 'cancels' this kind of wind and there's no difference in shot distance. To take it one step further, if you lower your angle, you stop cancelling the wind, and so the wind will start changing your shot... like in the example of wind pointing northwest... if you lower to angle 40, the wind angle is pointing more "upward" than your shooting angle, so this wind is going to carry your shot a bit far like upward wind would. If you raise to angle 50, the wind is pointing a bit below your shooting angle so the wind would hold it back a bit. If you're shooting at angles near 70 or 80 (like most turtles) the 'wind cancel' angle is quite different, it looks about like this: I do my best to explain all this here: creedo.gbgl-hq.com/turtleguide/turtleguide13.php
