I know that teh key to Grub's SS is to make it have contact with the enemy yada yada yada, but I hear that there is another way to deal max damage with it. You use a very high angle wiyth nearly full power so that it smashes down on them for 600+ damage. Is this true?

HHmmm, actually this guest is right. HolyCruxis informed me that it doesn't actually cause ann "explosive" 600+ damage: you have to use a reasonably high angle and nearly full power (though the 2.4 method may work too) and the wind must be very heavy and almost directly down wind. Then when the §§ lands on them, it will be stuck to the ground, and it will, of course, do alotta damage.

I suppose that would be ok. Also, if somehow they are in some sort of corner (I'm thinking stardust A or B or sea of hero A, and the wind is blowing at them towards the wall, you can shoot it at them, and the shot will kinda stick to the wall and do a lot of damage.

High angle is better, because therefor there is less rolling. Less rolling results in an ss that stays in contact with the target for a longer amount of time, which ends up with max damage. Low wind will help, but horizontal wind will make your shot roll around more and will not do sufficiant damage. High angle+Down wind+ nice hole = max damage
Also make sure that the enemy is in the center of the hole, or it won't work very well.

it is possible to ss on flat land, I've seen it work, the angle must be extremely high, and the power is fairly low (like 2 bars?)... and 0 wind or near 0, or maybe a tiny bit of against wind.
The SS hits the floor, bounces a few times, but because the ball never moves forward very much on each bounce, it will be inside the enemy for 3-4 bounces and do decent damage. I saw it on an untouched flat section of land on one of the metamine hills.
It might also work with uha and near full power as described, but I think the lower power results in less forward momentum, and therefore less chance of the ball rolling off the enemy before it's done "cooking".

there is something better than high angling. but you need it to be all setted, with luck ok first you need a oppenent in a nado (in themiddle of it) then bring your grub almost in it (1cm fromyour guy) then you take ss. and shoo with 0.0 (0.001?) with drag. (by clicking without draggin) i saw this when a good player did it on me ,.. 1300d<easy dmg
the reason why it hurts. its that it wont spin fast around the nado. its just gonna flow in it for 5 second for each circomference well. when it will touch the ground., it will immidialty explose

It also deals severe (if not fatal) damage to the Grub, as it is also inside or very damned close to the tornado.

ok, I really hate to do it... but I'm gonna reveal all secrets to grub ss.
first. explanation of a formula.
using the standard 70 bjsl formula for shot 2... 1.3 1/4 screen 1.9 1/2 screen 2.3 3/4 screen 2.7 1 screen
Shot 1 and SS are slightly off.... 2 angle's Clockwise. Lemme explain. If you are shooting left, you need to raise the angle 2 for the same shot to hit. Shooting right, lower 2 angles...
As far as max damage.. Depending on wind.. you can get some pretty odd ss predicaments... Never SS in hard up winds... Down winds are ideal, but any direction wind is possible 600+
For Flat land, high angle isnt needed. After your target duals, shot 1 him (you must core). Using about angle 70 you can very easily stick a ss in the small pit your cored shot 1 created... At close range, higher angle is needed... as said before by creedo.
In leading winds, you can ss them on a slope, as long as they also are along the slope (wind needs to be strong)
If you can roll the ss into them (using a slope) you can cause it to sticky on them... a very tricky shot btw.
I cant give all my tricks, but here's a few. I may sit down and write a full grub guide one day...
