Hi people,
I live in Brazil and I would like to play at GIS. However, the GIS servers block any access coming from IP range 200.*.*.* (Brazil's most common IP), by request of GBS (gunbound brazillian service), who didn't want to lose players to GIS.
With the advent of GBWC, my interest in playing at GIS was renewed. I though I could use some proxying program to mask my IP, like Proxyfier or SocksCaps. However, it's hard to find a working, fast (it must have a reasonable response time, or I'd lag a lot) and free proxy (I didn't find any). I also read in a forum that NProtect doesn't work through SOCKS5, which was the most probable solution to my problem.
Does anyone here have any advice to give me on this matter? Any program you know to work wth NProtect? Any working HTTP or SOCKS address?
Thanks, Yorek, the PanzerBjorn

I do not know much about proxies, but I found this program was very very easy to use and let me connect under anonymous proxies to any place I wanted. www.antifirewall.com/The only problem is there is a limited list of proxies that you download, and it can be difficult finding a proxy that works every time for you. You must experiment until you find one that works, some of them are very busy or are just dead links.
